This old children song came to my mind last night when I was watching the leaves of the tree in front of my window float down through the soft breeze. They changed color rather quick and it looks like a full blown autumn instead of the 4th day of it.
And since I love autumn and how it sounds and feels to walk through those piles of leaves, kicking them around after the gardeners just put them all together – oops – I wanted to make a post with this song in mind. I did not throw myself into the leaves but I danced in the falling ones feeling like a child for a moment, enjoying the colorful beauty of autumn.

So today it is here, the last day of summer. I know that almost everyone of us felt the last weeks like it would be already gone but today it’s official. And tomorrow autum starts. So confession time, if you did not know it already.
I LOVE Autumn well and winter, but until then it is still a bit. I love the chilly weather, the rain, the fog, the changing leaves, everything about autumn. Apart from that my mood can rapidly sink into the cellar a second after I was happy as a fish in the sea. But apart from that this is my season. So in anticipation of the coming weeks I decided to make this a bit more autum-ish.
I really like the Pixel Dreams Sim, my friend Cale has shown me. I featured it already before and i love all those wheat fields giving it an autumn farm feeling with so many different spots to make lovely pictures, with animals, plants, buildings, it is just beautiful. It’s totally worth a look.

This I found last week on a Flickr page of Kaycee Nightfire and the next day I made a pose set for this, that will be available during Project Donate. Even that I try not to use my stuff in my blogposts here, I just had to use one of the poses, because it did fit perfectly into what I wanted to do with this picture.
Today when I logged into SL I’ve got big eyes because I’ve gotten a blogger pack for hair that will be releases during the Hair fair and I had seen a little sneak preview when Mina, the creator, visited me a month ago. I immediately fell in love with all the little daisy flowers all over it. Not too many to bury the hair not too few to get lost in it. So you can tell I was pretty excited after waiting the whole of August for this moment, because I knew exactly how the picture should look like and what I wanted to use – SySy’s Joelle is just perfect for it.
Yay, finally. And I really like how it came out. Of course I made my wish, but only the little butterfly knows which, and it will stay like it until the butterfly will let the Great spirit know about it

Do you know how it is when you see an accessory or hair and you know exactly what kind of outfit you want to wear it with for the very first time? I had that today with shoes. I dared to leave my land with the knowledge of what I was doing to do would drop me in a pile of people: I visited The Dressing Room.
I did not get only some skin and hair but as soon as I saw the shoes from SLink I had to get them and knew what i wanted to do for my picture. The outfit and hair was found fast, same for the accessories and thanks to the Koinup Website I found exactly what i wanted: a Jazz club, more precisely “The Empire Jazz Club“.
I wanted to make the picture on a different spot, but when I started to play with the microphone on the stage I changed my mind rather quickly. It was so much fun, especially without an audience – I would die if anyone would see me on a stage *laughs*

That song was stuck in my head all the time while I was visiting a sim last night that portraits the beautiful Paris. I always wanted to travel there but since I did not have the chance in RL yet, I did it in SL.
I was amazed by the details of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, the beauty of the Champs-Élysées… the sun was shining and it was like I could smell the clear air, because in contrast to the real Paris there were only a couple of parked cars, people walked, there was a little booth with fresh crêpes… it all just brought a smile on my face that I danced on the street in front of the Arc

Last night was one of those nights, when i just did not get tired. I stayed up way too long but well that’s normal for me anyway *grins* I was in the mood to make something darker, fitting to my being of a night owl and a little bit mystic.
So while sorting my “To sort” folder, that is by now bigger than the rest of my inventory, i found a gown i bought during the Summer of Love Fair and the idea of Vampire Chan was born and i knew the perfect place for it. A dark roleplay sim with a breathtaking cathedral and an awesome cemetery called “No Salvation”.
When i arrived the sun was shining, forgot to override my light settings with the sim default, and since i refuse to sparkle i changed it to night. I made a bunch of pictures and i could not decide which one i like most, so you’re getting three of them *wink*
The first one is inside the cathedral and i hope i don’t have to mention that this light is casted by the moon through the windows, don’t come with sparkles and the like to me *smirks*
The second picture shows one of the outside places around the cathedral. Right behind the cemetery gates inside its walls you can find those beautiful poppy flowers.
While i was walking around and discovered crypts at the seam of the cemetery i saw it surrounded by a hip high wall with a beautiful view on the water, the moon standing over it. Luckily i could go closer so this picture was born.

I had in mind to make a post about this outfit as soon as I saw it. But I did not have much ideas for it. So when I was walking through the Shoe Fair, seeing the awesome build of the sims I knew I had to make it there. All sims are in a great Country Flair with wooden buildings, hay, corn, flowers, tractors.. such a great work without being too primmy, which is great for the lag.
So last night I jumped into my dress and knew exactly which shoes i wanted to wear with it, since I just got them during the Fair (yeah it’s one of my 10 pairs i mentioned in my last post) and flew through the sims to look for a great place. Which was a tough thing because it looks great everywhere. But i had most fun in this corn field you can see on the pictures, so i stayed there

Today was one of those days when i needed distraction. Usually i am not really girl like when it comes to that. The girl friends i know go for a shopping tour or eat ice cream – i usually watch some movies, preferably those without brain requirements. But today was different, i actually left my hermit land and went out to shop.
Well i wanted to get some shoes i have seen on the feet of a friend but the shop’s mainstore was not accessible (the whole continent was down, way to go) so i went into a satellite store. Well of course they did not have the shoes i wanted so i looked around in the next section and oh my heart started to sing it was the Discount Second of another store.
After having a short chat with the owner – and her thankfully correcting a pricing error so i could get lovely new ballerinas I’ll show off in another post – i looked around a bit more and fell in love with a beautiful dark emerald dress on a wall just 20 meters in front of me.
It did not take another second before i bought it not even caring about the price *lol* but it was alright, not too much and so pretty. As soon as i went home i slipped into it and i knew i had to show it to you and i knew exactly how i wanted to have it.
Isn’t this dress a dream?
And i am super happy i remembered this Skin i got from Dezi Jarvinen (the owner of Staged) because it fits quite nice into the view. And because it’s so beautiful here a closer look of the face with this special and very creative make up.
