When I woke up yesterday I had this song in my head and I did not get rid of it yet. What a huge coincidence it was, when I remembered that a fellow blogger – Shayariel – posted a blogger challenge, inspired my song text and guess which song has its turn now? Correct “Don’t fear the reaper” so this was perfect

The picture you see above has been in my mind exactly the moment I knew about the challenge, and it took a bit of time to get everything I wanted and set it up. But it was worth it. Also I did a huge amount of post processing to make it look like I wanted it

The other picture was rather spontaneous after my good friend Cale helped me to find this awesome cemetary. We have been there during a hunt lots of time ago and it took a while to remember where it was.

Since I’ve got this dress I wanted to make a gothy picture with it. It has been longer to get into the mood for it but I’m finally there. I’m not feeling all too well and my best friend gave me the advice to focus my energy on something to handle those feelings. And here we are. I always use creativity for an outlet.

A dear friend of mine has shown me a place in Second Life I did not know about. “Art Box” takes known art and makes little photo-builds in SL to mimic them. You just jump on a poseball, get into a nice outfit and voilà there you go. It is really great and there are so many builds in it that I am sure I’ll use it more often in the future.

Today’s Picture has been taken there as well. I changed the pose slightly though, since one arm vanished inside the skirt. Apart from that it is like you can find it. Of course a little Photoshop work made this all complete, so it still look slightly different.

Last night after shopping at the “Extend a Helping Hand” Fund-raiser I was in the mood to make Pictures with one of the outfits I have gotten there. In case you did not hear about “EAHH” (where do you live? Under a rock? ), it is an event to collect funds to help the affected ones of the Queensland Floods in Australia.

So, I’ve got this spacey Sci-fi outfit and I needed to make pictures with that, have been in the mood for something like that for a while so this opportunity was perfect. Since I usually do not have weapons I was looking around for a while until I found this baby, and doesn’t it look great? It comes with an integrated AO to hold the weapon and quite some features, too many to list.

The Helmet is from Omega Point and has the option to change colors, so I could easily make it fit the uniform. The texture of the visor in front is animated so it looks like you have some nice effect as if you are reading a portable terminal. I did not find the shop inworld anymore but maybe you have the helmet in your inventory

Since not everyone in Sci-Fi Stories comes from Earth I did not have to stick to my usual human look and this was right the chance to use of my recently bought Nomine Skins and Fallen Gods Eyes.

A friend of mine saw the look and said it would remind him of Tron. I have not seen the new movie yet but there is one quote i had to think of when he said that and it kind of fits the picture I’ve been “painting” here:

Today I was in the mood for a little challenge and did something that I knew would end in an attack of laughter: I asked my boyfriend for theme ideas. To share just a few with you, to see what I had to put up with, here a little bit of his mind. “Dolphins juggling with fir cones!” “…” “Not? then maybe pine cones.” “… *facepalm*” “How about Ice skating on the rings of Saturn?” *first fit of laughter* “If you don’t want juggling dolphins i don’t have to ask about otters?”

It might not be 100% the correct words, the laughter must have shaken out a lot of the memory but it was about that combined with a lot of ‘Darling…’, facepalms and ‘I should ask someone else’ from my side. *lol* BUT he had another idea and I tried to work with that: The Circus.

The lovely Evangeline Miles helped me a lot with finding a location and an outfit and I just found it perfect together. Thank you, doll. So i was wandering around at MadPea Circus and first I wanted to make the pic in the tent but then I saw this old carrousel and knew this is where I want to dance. Balancing on the horse was not easy but much better than using a living one

Child of the Night

Last night was one of those nights, when i just did not get tired. I stayed up way too long but well that’s normal for me anyway *grins* I was in the mood to make something darker, fitting to my being of a night owl and a little bit mystic.

So while sorting my “To sort” folder, that is by now bigger than the rest of my inventory, i found a gown i bought during the Summer of Love Fair and the idea of Vampire Chan was born and i knew the perfect place for it. A dark roleplay sim with a breathtaking cathedral and an awesome cemetery called “No Salvation”.

When i arrived the sun was shining, forgot to override my light settings with the sim default, and since i refuse to sparkle i changed it to night. I made a bunch of pictures and i could not decide which one i like most, so you’re getting three of them *wink*

The first one is inside the cathedral and i hope i don’t have to mention that this light is casted by the moon through the windows, don’t come with sparkles and the like to me *smirks*

The second picture shows one of the outside places around the cathedral. Right behind the cemetery gates inside its walls you can find those beautiful poppy flowers.

While i was walking around and discovered crypts at the seam of the cemetery i saw it surrounded by a hip high wall with a beautiful view on the water, the moon standing over it. Luckily i could go closer so this picture was born.
