Bribing Santa …

All around the world people celebrate Christmas or a fest that happens to be at the same time. I for myself celebrate a fest called Yule which was on December 21st, so i have a couple of days peace and silence now *grins* But of course I have a list of wishes, most of them more for my friends and emotional or health things. After reading through it again I noticed, I have only one material wish and that is something nobody could buy, so who is the best person to ask for those wishes…

Exactly Santa! And since Santa knows that I don’t celebrate Christmas I had to think of a way of bribing him a little – I am sure that helps my ranking on the nice list, right?

The “Santa’s Helper” and “Santa Babydoll” sets from “Bodice” were the perfect opportunity to help me with that and they are both available until the end of the holidays for only 65 and 75 Linden each, now if that isn’t a deal. And since I don’t show myself often in lingerie, Santa’s going to get something special to see. Now if that doesn’t work I don’t know.

Interesting enough I had this old Bob Dylan song in my mind as soon as I saw that the new 52 Weeks of Color Challenge Color will be Blue. So instead of some other more obvious songs i choose that as a title.

It was not hard to find blue things in my inventory, but it was hard to decide which ones I want to use. So after testing and trying out different styles I have chosen this one. It looks comfy enough to fit today’s mood, did not want to go too fancy. Rather a “I’ll go and take a stroll.”

Maybe I should have dressed a little less revealing, with the cold weather outside my lips went all blue, see? lol

Fairies wear boots

I have no idea why this song got stuck in my head all day long. But instead of wondering and guessing I decided to put it into good use, aka a blog post.

To find the fitting outfit was not hard, I kept on my Gos Docs and grabbed my Evie’s outfit before jumping to the first place I thought of when thinking of fairies in autumn: Garden of Dreams.

Garden in the Rain

I do not know how you like old movies and music, but i got this old song stuck in my head while i was wandering through the a Dark Fairies Dream Sim. Among all those beautiful flowers, ponds and trees the rain was falling on me. I love rain in all lives, walking in it, dancing in it, feeling the cool drops on my skin, soaking through my clothes. So I just had to make pictures.

It was a perfect opportunity to show off some of the things I’ve got lately on hunts and shopping tours. And because i could not decide which photo to take, I’ll show more

Have you gat’cha Summer of Love fix?

Yesterday I have shown you a couple of items I got at the Gatcha Festival, and I promised you also to show more – so here I am.

But that is not all. Last night I also visited the “Summer of Love” Fair. I have to admit that I did not know what it is about and I was surprised. I have heard that there is a little hunt – quite a few sculpted question marks are standing around and when you touch/buy (depending on the question mark) you will not only get an item but also notecards about lots of mental disorders like eating disorders, Depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, Gender identity disorder, Anxiety and much more.

It is very informative and I am really impressed by all the information that has been collected to raise awareness for those issues that are all around us or in us, but rarely someone talks about them seriously because of shame, tabu or simply not knowing what it is. Being affected myself I was taking all the notecard with me to learn more and i’m still not done reading. I can only recommend to take the time.

But of course there is not only reading there is also … shopping – correct. So I got things during the hunt and I treated myself with some shopping as well and so I will show you more gatcha and Summer of Love Goodies

While I was looking through the stuff I got in the last days I got an idea. Something we call “Urlaub auf Balkonien” in Germany, roughly translated “Vacation on Balconia” (Balconia for balcony) I think it would staycation in English. And I was looking around in SL for a sim with some big city flair like I knew it from home, that has building permissions to set out my stuff haha – easy? Nope but I did it, this is Urban Ghetto -Slum City. And here we are, since I cannot go anywhere – my Vacation on Balconia…
