A splotch of Color

Thanks to computer problems I cannot do much right now, BUT I’ve got to make new pictures, so I will honor you with them

The sweater/dress is a subscriber gift from the coming soon shop “cold logic” and I just love it. It comes in three colors, all for free on subscription. I was in a red mood so here we go.

The shoes can be found at the seasons gacha and are from Ingenue. I got lucky and pulled out the fitting ones for this dress right on the first try. The necklace is from undefined lilies and available at the season gacha as well

The Make up has been the very first release of a dear friend of mine, naminaeko. I love the funky-ness of them and the vivid colors and so far they come in three colors. Link to her marketplace store will be below. I hope that she will do a lot more.

Pssst, it’s a secret!

I have been shopping a lot lately, though rather for my Roleplay characters at Hogwarts. So now it was time, to get some treat for myself again. And that happened right the day, when I read about ‘The Secret Store’ having a few items out on discount. Upon checking on that, I found a couple of red, white and green items and squealed of joy. Meshy Redness

So now that I can finally use Mesh and Shadows I wanted to use it both in my pictures. And although fixing the shadow glitches take a lot of work and time, I really like them

I doubt I’ll have to tell you anything about Mesh, since the feeds are full of them. These Boots are from SLink and each color comes in 4 sizes to make sure that you can wear them without changing your shape too much. Same goes for Jane’s shorts I am wearing. I love how Mesh moves with the body without looking stiff. Though I hope that LL will add some chance to edit Mesh rather than forcing designers to include several sizes. That would be great for those people with unusual shapes to keep their individuality.

The glasses I am wearing are mesh too and they look really great. I do not know for how long but right now you can get several packs of Mesh glasses (tortoise shell pattern and black, with big and those small glasses) for only 1L each at bastard. I had to get them because I really really LOVE glasses on me

Lumberjack in Distress

Some of you might know or have noticed, that I am a huge huge fan of flare pants. So when I saw this cute new release of Zaara, I first thought ‘Oh what a shame’ because on the picture I only saw skinny jeans. But then I saw another picture and WOHOO those Jeans include several options for legs, among them my beloved Flare pants.

After just wearing those great jeans, I was in the mood to go more casual and found this great shirt. The shirt is the Seasons Hunt price from pivaaca, the tanktop from Absolution (which sadly enough closed its doors), the hair comes from Magika. And I might not be a big bag person, but I remembered those awesome Owl Bags from undefined lilies, they are highly adjustable with so many different textures and they are so darn cute.

And I love those shoes from INDI Design, done in great detail, my favourite sneakers in Second Life And what I also like are those details Zaara put into her new pants. I just LOVE this watch with the chain!

Quoth the Raven “Nevermore”

This famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favourites. I do not know why, but I just love it. It sends shivers down my spine and each time I read the lines it is like I am reading it for the first time, still fascinated by the style, atmosphere and content.

Therefore when I found out about Empyreal Dreams, who build sets inspired by and based on great poems and novels, and their “The Raven” build I had to visit and make pictures. When I’ve got this beautiful and sensual dress, which is a group gift from “World End’s Garden”, I knew it is perfect for this venture.

Isn’t it just breathtaking? I certainly love it. Actually the color of the outfit is black but the color around plus the light may have changed that a little. There are shoes that come with the dress that were not my taste, so I added different boots.

Catch of the day

Today all I wanted is to make a snow picture. So I jumped into an outfit, looked for a nice place and made pictures. In the middle of the shoot, part of it felt wrong to me. Then I noticed that I feel like wearing something completely different and the pose was not what i was feeling like either. So, I changed everything and yay was happy with the result. No idea why I rather felt like blue than my favourite color green, but here it is, the catch of the day.

My best friend Cale has been showing me a sim today, that would be great for pictures with lots of grass, called Venice Isle. So I was walking around and playing with the animals standing around and then I saw this Barn and could not stop laughing. There was a cow, eating cookies and watching TV. I so had to make a picture with that.

So I tped back to the Wear Gray sim – you remember my earlier from from today about it – and grabbed some things and mixed and matched by hook or by crook and had tons of fun with it to put together this little gem.

It’s not quite there, but it’s coming… Autumn

I have to say that I am an autumn and winter child although I have been born in summer. I cannot stand the heat but I love it chilly, cool, colorful and rainy in autumn, sparkling white and snowing in winter. I really love it, I do. But right now I’m having a cold myself and would LOVE to have some more summer days

Well but nobody can stop the circle of seasons and since it it September we had to expect that it’s getting colder now. But that also means that we can snuggle and cuddle into our warm blankets with some hot tea or chocolate or whatever you drink and watch the drops of rain running down the window’s glass, I really like that. The sound of rain… the smell before, during and after..

And, I really like those sweaters with loooong arms that are way too thick in summer. And one of those that is for the time between warm and really cold I’ve got in the Product Sample box from fri.day on the hair fair. See?

It actually has also a hood but i wanted to show off the hair so i am not wearing it. But it’s lovely for autumn and I really like that color, even that I am more into earthy shades it’s nice.

Square Root of 3 – Nerdy Geek Love

It was very clear from early days that I am a geek, a nerd and that I am proud of it. I loved Sci-Fi, especially Star Trek, since the first time I saw it at the age of 6. I loved museums, exhibitions and the buzz of excitement at the sight of all those historic pictures and figures, not to forget how my eyes gleamed when I saw a huge dinosaur skeleton for the first time, or a double helix..

I found that rather normal that my Dad taught me everything that he knew about computers and I soaked it in like a sponge, helped him programming stuff for the first time when I was 7 and that I built my first own computer without help at the age of 14. And wow I loved biology in school and always have been sad I did not understand physics because it was a tad too mathematic for my brain. *lol*

So I was doing the “For the Love of Science” hunt last night as soon as I heard of it and found some goodies on my way in the hunt and around of it, that I had to show off my little nerdy side in here

That song was stuck in my head all the time while I was visiting a sim last night that portraits the beautiful Paris. I always wanted to travel there but since I did not have the chance in RL yet, I did it in SL.

I was amazed by the details of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, the beauty of the Champs-Élysées… the sun was shining and it was like I could smell the clear air, because in contrast to the real Paris there were only a couple of parked cars, people walked, there was a little booth with fresh crêpes… it all just brought a smile on my face that I danced on the street in front of the Arc
