When I woke up yesterday I had this song in my head and I did not get rid of it yet. What a huge coincidence it was, when I remembered that a fellow blogger – Shayariel – posted a blogger challenge, inspired my song text and guess which song has its turn now? Correct “Don’t fear the reaper” so this was perfect

The picture you see above has been in my mind exactly the moment I knew about the challenge, and it took a bit of time to get everything I wanted and set it up. But it was worth it. Also I did a huge amount of post processing to make it look like I wanted it

The other picture was rather spontaneous after my good friend Cale helped me to find this awesome cemetary. We have been there during a hunt lots of time ago and it took a while to remember where it was.

Sunshine on my shoulders

I caught myself humming this – one of my favourite – John Denver songs while watching the sunshine dance on the leaves of the tree in front of my window. Nobody can not see that it is spring again, and a lovely one nonetheless. This got me into the mood for a spring post showing you some new things I’ve got.

Since I’ve got this dress I wanted to make a gothy picture with it. It has been longer to get into the mood for it but I’m finally there. I’m not feeling all too well and my best friend gave me the advice to focus my energy on something to handle those feelings. And here we are. I always use creativity for an outlet.

A dear friend of mine has shown me a place in Second Life I did not know about. “Art Box” takes known art and makes little photo-builds in SL to mimic them. You just jump on a poseball, get into a nice outfit and voilà there you go. It is really great and there are so many builds in it that I am sure I’ll use it more often in the future.

Today’s Picture has been taken there as well. I changed the pose slightly though, since one arm vanished inside the skirt. Apart from that it is like you can find it. Of course a little Photoshop work made this all complete, so it still look slightly different.

Desert’s Night

Two days ago I discovered the Flickr Stream of KC Nightfire that made me want to visit all the places in the pictures she took. And well i started with the first 30 and wow, there are some amazing sims in SL i never heard of before. I made tons of landmarks for all different kinds of pictures and you can be sure you’ll be seeing some of them in my future posts.

The start i actually make today. AM Radio at IDIA Laboratories is a huge plain with the Sky all around it and some mountains in the distance. Every now and then you find some items like a desk, a ladder with a canvas and some other things to make great pictures in the endless desert.

While playing with my outfit i chose i noticed that i did not have any poses that do what i have in mind, so while standing in my dress at this desert i went to make myself some poses and then had some big fun to play with lots of windlight settings to find a great light. I found about 50 and had a hard time choosing but since i ususally make daylight pictures i wanted to make one in the night now and here it is
