Child of the Night

Last night was one of those nights, when i just did not get tired. I stayed up way too long but well that’s normal for me anyway *grins* I was in the mood to make something darker, fitting to my being of a night owl and a little bit mystic.

So while sorting my “To sort” folder, that is by now bigger than the rest of my inventory, i found a gown i bought during the Summer of Love Fair and the idea of Vampire Chan was born and i knew the perfect place for it. A dark roleplay sim with a breathtaking cathedral and an awesome cemetery called “No Salvation”.

When i arrived the sun was shining, forgot to override my light settings with the sim default, and since i refuse to sparkle i changed it to night. I made a bunch of pictures and i could not decide which one i like most, so you’re getting three of them *wink*

The first one is inside the cathedral and i hope i don’t have to mention that this light is casted by the moon through the windows, don’t come with sparkles and the like to me *smirks*

The second picture shows one of the outside places around the cathedral. Right behind the cemetery gates inside its walls you can find those beautiful poppy flowers.

While i was walking around and discovered crypts at the seam of the cemetery i saw it surrounded by a hip high wall with a beautiful view on the water, the moon standing over it. Luckily i could go closer so this picture was born.

OMG Exodi goes so well with MINA

I do not know how you wear skins, if you use only one and are happy over years or if you change them often. I know that from the beginning of my life in SL I was wearing only one skin and i loved it. Then after almost 3 years I thought it could be nice to look around, and I did not have any luck for a long time. Something always did not feel right.

Then not that long after I joined the group of Exodi, Ryker Beck sent a group gift and I peeked through them, thinking that something will not be right again. But i got surprised and I fell in love with the new skin. It had the perfect skin color, make up everything and honestly I loved the cleavage *laughs* So it came that after 3 years in a skin I adored i changed for an Exodi skin.

Now you can maybe imagine how close I was to faint when I got this preview pack today from items that will be released, sold, given away in two days for their amazing and exciting :: Exodi :: & :.WoE.: Isolde Skin & Sim Launch Party.

Back to the future

Today after finishing the Crazy Arse Hair Hunt and looking through the hairs i kinda – don’t ask me why – felt like doing something Sci-Fi and Fantasy like. So i remembered that great avatar i have but was all bummed when i did not find it anywhere on XStreet again, because i want to show things you can still get.

But oh joy, following the creator’s profile i found out that it is under a new label and still available, so hooray i was able to use it for the first time in over a year. Now since that was a full avatar i did not need to get more stuff but.. where to go?

Thankfully my good friend Niko Paolino had a name of a sim and when i went there my first and only thought (verbally expressed and causing him to laugh about it) was “Holy moses”. Insilico is a HUGE Sci-Fi futuristic sim with skyscrapers, flying objects, neon advertisment and much more that was exactly what i was looking for. You really should visit it when you find the time.

And this Final Fantasy Avatar has a really cool sculpted face that comes with the hair. It blinks, and has to options ‘normal’ and ‘smiling’ – this is the smiling one. I think it’s absolutely beautiful.
