A splotch of Color

Thanks to computer problems I cannot do much right now, BUT I’ve got to make new pictures, so I will honor you with them

The sweater/dress is a subscriber gift from the coming soon shop “cold logic” and I just love it. It comes in three colors, all for free on subscription. I was in a red mood so here we go.

The shoes can be found at the seasons gacha and are from Ingenue. I got lucky and pulled out the fitting ones for this dress right on the first try. The necklace is from undefined lilies and available at the season gacha as well

The Make up has been the very first release of a dear friend of mine, naminaeko. I love the funky-ness of them and the vivid colors and so far they come in three colors. Link to her marketplace store will be below. I hope that she will do a lot more.

Lumberjack in Distress

Some of you might know or have noticed, that I am a huge huge fan of flare pants. So when I saw this cute new release of Zaara, I first thought ‘Oh what a shame’ because on the picture I only saw skinny jeans. But then I saw another picture and WOHOO those Jeans include several options for legs, among them my beloved Flare pants.

After just wearing those great jeans, I was in the mood to go more casual and found this great shirt. The shirt is the Seasons Hunt price from pivaaca, the tanktop from Absolution (which sadly enough closed its doors), the hair comes from Magika. And I might not be a big bag person, but I remembered those awesome Owl Bags from undefined lilies, they are highly adjustable with so many different textures and they are so darn cute.

And I love those shoes from INDI Design, done in great detail, my favourite sneakers in Second Life And what I also like are those details Zaara put into her new pants. I just LOVE this watch with the chain!

Tangled up in blue

Interesting enough I had this old Bob Dylan song in my mind as soon as I saw that the new 52 Weeks of Color Challenge Color will be Blue. So instead of some other more obvious songs i choose that as a title.

It was not hard to find blue things in my inventory, but it was hard to decide which ones I want to use. So after testing and trying out different styles I have chosen this one. It looks comfy enough to fit today’s mood, did not want to go too fancy. Rather a “I’ll go and take a stroll.”

Maybe I should have dressed a little less revealing, with the cold weather outside my lips went all blue, see? lol

Let’s get sporty

Again this post is the “fault” of my friend Cale. Yesterday was his birthday and we spent the day in SL. And we were shopping, way too much again *lol* but after I have seen the quality of the new “Oliveri” sneaker release from INDI Designs, I HAD to get them (They are available for girls and for guys in great color combinations).

Since there were over 10 colors to choose from I had big trouble with that, but I refrained from getting the fatpack and got only 2 pairs, I’m so proud of me and my Landlady will thankful that I can can afford the rent *chuckles*

And because I am so impressed with those sneakers I had to show them to you. Amazing, huh? A Shoe Post that does NOT come from the Shoe Fair *grins*

I wanted to make a sporty image with me on a tartan track but do you think i found one in SL? No Chance so i ended up here, a Football Stadium

And since you cannot see all the great details of the sneakers on that picture, here a close up for you. I can’t believe how real they look. Jamie Holmes does all the sculpts and textures herself in lots of hard work for hours and as i heard even weeks sometimes. They really look like this i did not enable shadows (my graphic card can’t) or add anything myself. They are plain out of SL.

Strawberry Kisses

Alright, today I did not want to blog actually BUT … yes we all know those buts that make us do things we wanted to pause with for at least a day, right? This time my male best friend Cale showed me his new stuff. Since it is always hard for men to find good things – I listen to him all the time about it – it is always a fest when he shares new things. So he told me about the shop and I remembered I have been there already, ages and ages ago. So we decided to take a short trip to INDI. And yes.. I could not leave without buying something new.

I remember INDI being a small shop in the beginning and how they expanded to a floor story building. But uhm yeah now they have a full sim, great men and women clothing (both in many many options per pack), hair and awesome sculpted shoes. Jamie, the owner, I heard from my friend, does all the sculpts herself I think including texturing, using different programs for those processes. And I have seen her shoes on his feet, wow they look so real. It is definitely worth a look to check out her items.

But enough of my new hero in clothing-creation *laughs* When I got this new outfit, Cale already knew I had to make a picture with it, and the name ‘Strawberry Kisses’ does come from him, just by the way. So I was looking for a sim to make pictures and thanks to my awesoms Plurk friends, I found some great places. One of them was Magic of Oz and the adjacent Ozimals Sim. As soon as I saw the strawberry houses (you can see behind me) on Ozimals I knew this is what I need
