A splotch of Color

Thanks to computer problems I cannot do much right now, BUT I’ve got to make new pictures, so I will honor you with them

The sweater/dress is a subscriber gift from the coming soon shop “cold logic” and I just love it. It comes in three colors, all for free on subscription. I was in a red mood so here we go.

The shoes can be found at the seasons gacha and are from Ingenue. I got lucky and pulled out the fitting ones for this dress right on the first try. The necklace is from undefined lilies and available at the season gacha as well

The Make up has been the very first release of a dear friend of mine, naminaeko. I love the funky-ness of them and the vivid colors and so far they come in three colors. Link to her marketplace store will be below. I hope that she will do a lot more.

Last time I have been telling you about the “Artbox” and of course I had to go there again. Those sets are just amazing for doing pictures. I really can only recommend them. I visited two more sets for these pictures and hope you enjoy them.

It is a time that I want to do something sexy. A part of it is because I always here how ‘cute’ I am and I wonder why people say that, what is it that makes me unsexy. You know that feeling? lol Well I find many things sexy that others don’t, maybe that’s the reason. For the first time in ages i dressed myself in a short dress combined with high boots – I love those btw. – and I have to admit that I like the short dresses as long as they are not too short. This one made me feel a bit like jumping into my Jeans to cover a bit more *laughs* but I really like the dress and how well it is made. I might get more into that stuff, we’ll see.

Touch-and-go

A bunch of weeks ago, when my dear friend SySy told me that her cousin joined Second Life we did not even imagine that not even 3 months later she will open her own shop. When I then heard that she never touched Photoshop before and heard she made her first shirt I smiled and thought about how my first try of clothing looked liked but Ayla totally amazed me.

Her first shirt was apart from very dark shadows absolutely awesome i could not believe she made it in such a short time, while SySy and me remebered how long we took to even learn how to make shadows and highlights on our stuff *laughs*

So, Ayla had her Birthday last week and SySy gifted her a little space next to her shop so she could sell her awesome creations. You should come along and take a look, I see her already having fangirls around, but no wonder since she is really talented. Oh and look at these, I blushed so hard when she dropped those on me, because they are named after me

That’s just WRONG! – Gone, But Not Forgotten

I almost missed that it is Monday which means there is a new blogger challenge. Yay, those are really fun. This week it was really hard because i just sorted out stuff BUT i had enough left for the “Gone, But Not Forgotten” Challenge. That means we had to use stuff from shops that were either closed or dormant for more than 6 months.

Back in times, maybe 3 years ago i had a favorite shop, it was called ‘WRONG!’ and i loved the non fashionista style, very casual, some punky and grungy, though they had other stuff as well. And i had a whole outfit worth of stuff in my inventory, my luck

My shape and my eyes are the only things that i did not use from closed shops because i don’t have any. I do not have any shapes apart from those of whole body avatars like animals and stuff and eyes I only have from still existent shops, so i used my regular ones there.

Strawberry Kisses

Alright, today I did not want to blog actually BUT … yes we all know those buts that make us do things we wanted to pause with for at least a day, right? This time my male best friend Cale showed me his new stuff. Since it is always hard for men to find good things – I listen to him all the time about it – it is always a fest when he shares new things. So he told me about the shop and I remembered I have been there already, ages and ages ago. So we decided to take a short trip to INDI. And yes.. I could not leave without buying something new.

I remember INDI being a small shop in the beginning and how they expanded to a floor story building. But uhm yeah now they have a full sim, great men and women clothing (both in many many options per pack), hair and awesome sculpted shoes. Jamie, the owner, I heard from my friend, does all the sculpts herself I think including texturing, using different programs for those processes. And I have seen her shoes on his feet, wow they look so real. It is definitely worth a look to check out her items.

But enough of my new hero in clothing-creation *laughs* When I got this new outfit, Cale already knew I had to make a picture with it, and the name ‘Strawberry Kisses’ does come from him, just by the way. So I was looking for a sim to make pictures and thanks to my awesoms Plurk friends, I found some great places. One of them was Magic of Oz and the adjacent Ozimals Sim. As soon as I saw the strawberry houses (you can see behind me) on Ozimals I knew this is what I need

Oooh, Baby, Baby – it’s like a dream

I know i know i have been posting already today, but i could not hold back this one. The lovely Auguste Finistair, owner of Shades of October, asked on plurk earlier if any blogger would like to have her new special dress and it is sooo cute that i couldn’t hold back. And i didn’t get dissapointed.

The colors are just beautiful in a green and turquoise shade diamonds pattern, multilayer babydoll skirt and it comes on all layers. Oh and look at this cute little bow in the front, i love those details that add the icing on the cake

Popping the Cherry at the Beach

So now there it is, the very first post of “Through clueless eyes” and i think about what i could tell you. Good start isn’t it? Being speechless.

Well let’s start with what the heck i am doing here. As you can read in Behind clueless eyes:

I am not a fashion guru or expert, i don’t even have a clue about fashion, neither in RL nor in SL. But i know what i like, and that is what you’re going to see here.

I rather am an explorer and photo-artist than a review blogger. I explore places in Second Life, i make tons of pictures and then i grab one of them to make something nice out of it, or at least i think it’s nice.

When i logged into SL today i felt like i wanted to go to the beach and had trouble to find something nice to wear. But good for me, SySy Chapman from SySy’s just had finished her Humpday Happiness Special Bikini and i got it immediately – it comes in 4 amazing colors and i hope she will put them out early again so you will be able to grab them already tomorrow.

And i did not just want to stand around there at the beach so i remembered that i had seen those really awesome surfboard poses including the board at Adorkable. I did not know before but quickly found out that it does not only come with 6 great poses but that you can change the texture of the board in 9 different ways plus some more options for shininess, glow and so on.

With the board under my arm i visited the beautiful land of my friend XiuLan who offered me to drop there anytime and i just love her beach, as you can see here it is be-au-ti-ful. I just hope i won’t get a sunburn now.
