Jareth likes it floral

Posted by Chandni Khondji on September 8, 2011

Finally another blogpost of mine. I wanted to do one way earlier but fighting with my computer and mesh took a lot of time. I still can’t run it well, but might be able to make a mesh post soon, but not today :)

When I unpacked this outfit LuNi, I immediately fell in love. I love the shape, the casual but uniform like gothy look and I knew exactly what look I wanted to go for for the picture. LuNi released this outfit in Bubblegum, Cobalt, Grass (worn in picture) and Rust. Not forget that there is a purple version available as Twisted Hunt Gift.

The Twisted Fae Makeup I am wearing (the green eyeshadow) is only one of 4 colors that are available at LuNi only in this month’s Gacha. Last but not least: LuNi has a great sale this month on all PURPLE items in the shop, you should not miss that, Lucas Gerard and Nimil Blackflag have some great creations available for you :)

I rejoiced to finally have a chance and a fitting outfit to wear those awesome boots from lassitude & ennui. The lace on the boots is changeable between white, black and none, also the colors of the pearls and the metal in front can be change to suit your outfit more. I’m absolutely in love with this floral pattern.

This fantastic skin from Gala was part of the Seasons Hunt and was the icing on the cake for this look. I hope you got that prize because it is simply beautiful.

Grey, Grey, Grey is everything I have

Posted by Chandni Khondji on November 9, 2010

Last weekend I’ve been seeing a lot of posts with gray items and was wondering what this all was about. Then I found out that they all were for the “52 Weeks of Color” Blogger Challenge initialized by Luna Jubilee. I became really curious how many of those weeks I would be able to do, so I’ve decided to join in. This week’s color is grey and I already had my first trouble, because I have close to no grey items, but I’ve got lucky and found some silver ones, which is close enough for me :)

Gray, Gray, Gray is everything I have

I actually like this grayish look, maybe I’ll keep it on for today *grins*

The feeling of silk on the skin

Posted by Chandni Khondji on August 8, 2010

So, since I mentioned my friend Cale in 2 of the last 3 blog posts I thought it is time to do what I wanted to do for quite a while. A post about his creations. :)

Quite some friends know that until almost a year ago I have been around in Gor for something between 1-1/2 and 2 years. It was a great experience, I learned a lot about myself and thankfully I have been in the right sims without anything being forced upon me. I enjoyed that time a lot until it was time for me to leave. I’m telling you that because my friend Cale Alcott was one of the first people who made silks for girls I really loved. There are many silk creators out there and I adore so many of their creations but my all time favourite have always been the green “Celtic Silks” from House of Alcott and not only because he’s my closest and longest friend also because the design.

They are fully primmed and have thankfully optional panties – I never go pantie-less – and in my absolute favourite dark evergreen. The golden prim ornaments have so much detail and all the tassels and flowing fabrics made me want to move all the time just to watch them twirling around me :) (Though i have been paler and with red hair, but you get the drift *G*)

Even now that I am not in Gor anymore I still love them and dancing around in them while doing the pictures made me smile. And what better location for that than a tavern. Not for audience, those days are past, but since Cale also builds beautiful Houses and Residences in lots of styles I had to take the picture in one of his Taverns. I love the details, shapes and texture-works he does on his creations and am in awe each time I see something new he created.

He was – just by the way – also always someone who encouraged me to work with prims, to test and try around and to tell me how to try things, bringing in new ideas when I got stuck with this fantastic creative mind of his. I can only say thank you, not only for that but also for being my friend for so many many years, i think it’s almost half a lifetime for me that i know him and he still didn’t run away *laughs*
