The Rabbit and the Frog

I have been doing the seasons hunt in Second Life and had an awesome fun finding places I never saw before. And while running around finding that little mischievious shark that hides in all the unusual places I found this little spot, perfect for my blogpost and my present favourite outfit.

I have been a bad girl and wore this for 3 days straight already, but I don’t care because I just feel great in it. So summery and shiny. A mix from Fri.day, Sn@tch and Truth. And heck you HAVE to see those shoes from SLink. I just adore them.

You can change the heels to woven texture or keep it in color and you can turn off the deco on them. And yes you see it right, this is a super cute little frog on the other shoe. Isn’t that just darling? I love them so much I don’t want to detach them anymore!

Mischievous Female Winecoat with Monsoon Clear eyes

If you like Meeroos you might know what this headline means. I have been visiting the Mee & Roo Festivale that happenes until tomorrow. Several designers have created items that are related to or inspired by Meeroos, and everything is available for 200L or less.

This cute dress is from Evie’s Closet and exactly the color of one of the Meeroo Coats – Winecoat, including the little dots we can see on the thigh of their hind legs. The ears come together with a tail, I am not wearing right now, from Jolly Farm. Also from Jolly Farm are the funny Meeroo shoes i am wearing below.

The Floating Island is made by myself, it comes with 4 poses and you can use it with and without cuddling your Meeroo, enjoying some piece and quiet time. The bracelet I am wearing is from Friday and you cannot see it on the pic but it has little pendants that look like the treasures your Meeroos dig up for you. I saw an eagle feather, a pipe and some others, so cute.

Since I’ve got this dress I wanted to make a gothy picture with it. It has been longer to get into the mood for it but I’m finally there. I’m not feeling all too well and my best friend gave me the advice to focus my energy on something to handle those feelings. And here we are. I always use creativity for an outlet.

A dear friend of mine has shown me a place in Second Life I did not know about. “Art Box” takes known art and makes little photo-builds in SL to mimic them. You just jump on a poseball, get into a nice outfit and voilà there you go. It is really great and there are so many builds in it that I am sure I’ll use it more often in the future.

Today’s Picture has been taken there as well. I changed the pose slightly though, since one arm vanished inside the skirt. Apart from that it is like you can find it. Of course a little Photoshop work made this all complete, so it still look slightly different.

Thecla, the Assassin

I have never been much of a Boot type, but recently I find more and more often, that I love them. So when I saw those boots from Lassitude & Ennui I knew I need them. Jackal Ennui makes all the sculpts and textures herself and there is so much detail in them, so lovely and I for myself can feel that she loves to do what she does.

The first boots to show off, are called “Thecla” and they come in 6 colors. Since I fell in love with the deep vibrant red I’m showing you those The other colors are sea, black, brown, gray and purple.

Also new in this is Ayla’s new Dani pants with a very high waste, and gosh I love this. Never had anything like this before and I have no idea why. Once again Ayla topped her own performance with this completely hand drawn piece of clothing.

Also they are participating in the “Happy Holidays from ..” hunt, which runs from Dec 10th to 31st, and is organized by CHIC Management. And those Assassin boots are the prize in grey. They are just awesome and not only for villains. After the hunt is over they will be available in more colors, so don’t forget to check back on New Year.

Inventory Sorting

Yesterday was one of those days when I – after a long and hard housework day in RL – just sat down and did not want to think too much. So I started the most mindless work ever, sorting my inventory. I should have never started to make a “To Sort” Folder after I organized it, because now that folder is bigger than all my other folders *laughs*

Well anyhow, After sorting for a while I looked at myself and I actually liked the mix I found myself in. You know when you try out the stuff and don’t take them off before trying something new. So I made this my “Look of the day” to share with you.

Who gives a hoot?

I can honestly say that I do. But this was the title i had in mind the very first moment I saw what Liliana Barrs came up with. Those awesome cute owl brooches and those cute little birdy earrings are the first thing she put for sale in Second Life and I had to get them, because I noticed i don’t have enough bird-things in my inventory and those are just adorable *grins*

And look at these Jeans. Oh my god those are awesome. I had the pleasure to see with my own eyes how Ayla Verity made those. Yes, really, those are hand-drawn. Every stitch, every wrinkle, everything. She worked on those for days and when i thought after one that they are already perfect i almost fell out of my chair when i saw the end result that she improved themeven more. They look so realistic!

The skin is Isolde from Exodi and the yellow/orange-ish make up was perfect for this shirt, which is the October and Anniversary Gift from Has Been. And see those cute little ringed toes? This is the updated version of the SLink bare feet, i love the new toe ring option

Today I feel …. red

All day long i was changing outfits and did not know what to wear, nothing felt right, until i found this top in my inventory and knew, that this is what i want to wear today. Because today i felt… red.

Not that i was aggressive or anything, i just felt like it. Then when i saw some of the Fifty Linden Friday items I went shopping and came back with a couple of things I had to wear and mix together and yay happily they did fit my reddish mood.

And I really seem to like the autumnal decoration on Hide and Seek, this was not the first time i have been there to make pictures *lol* But it’s really really lovely, well done.

Jewelry Fair and Ayla’s Opening Party

Today is a very exciting day and not only because the Jewelry Fair started today. No, for my friend Ayla it is, because today she will officially open her brand new and very first shop in Second Life. I have been posting tops from her before and there will be more, that much is for sure.

But first I want to show off some piece I have gotten, that I just adore. I have never been much of a jewelry lover in SL until maybe a couple of months ago. And I am humbled that I have the chance to show you designs for the Jewelry fair by three great designers. In contrast to my usual Pictures I want to concentrate on the Jewelry, which is why they have a plain background that does not distract you

First let me show you the designs of MIAO owned by Kesseret Steeplechase. All her jewelry comes with several texturechange options for gems, metal, cords, ribbons and so on which really makes those lovely creations fitting to everything you wear.

The next designer is Trixie Bumbo from Primagine. A shop I regrettably never heard about before. And it’s really a shame because you can see on those pictures, the designs are really beautiful, imaginative and with love to detail.

lassitude & ennui owned by Jackal Ennui has also some adorable pieces for the Jewelry Fair and I was curious to see them, because before I knew only shoes from them (blind me should look around in the shop more often) and i wasn’t getting dissapointed. The designs are beautiful, full of little details and delicate. Also the Bleeding Heart set comes with a texturechange HUD for 4 Pearl and 4 Metal colors.

So as in the last weeks I am going to join the Blogger Challenge. This week’s theme is “It’s All In The Background!” For this theme we were supposed to show you our favorite “Backgrounds”, might it be a sim, a wallpaper, our home, our club anything that we love to use as background and then match our outfit to it.

My favourite place in the whole of Second Life has changed recently from ‘My home’ to this paradise called “Alirium”, since my best friend has shown it to me. I would live there if I could, seriously. It has so many breathtaking spots, but I am going to show only one of them, to not give you an overkill. But the true beauty can be seen only when you visit it yourself.

As you can see I really tried to keep the center of attention to the background since that was the subject, but there at the side is me and so I keep it at least a little “fashionable” *grins*
