A splotch of Color

Thanks to computer problems I cannot do much right now, BUT I’ve got to make new pictures, so I will honor you with them

The sweater/dress is a subscriber gift from the coming soon shop “cold logic” and I just love it. It comes in three colors, all for free on subscription. I was in a red mood so here we go.

The shoes can be found at the seasons gacha and are from Ingenue. I got lucky and pulled out the fitting ones for this dress right on the first try. The necklace is from undefined lilies and available at the season gacha as well

The Make up has been the very first release of a dear friend of mine, naminaeko. I love the funky-ness of them and the vivid colors and so far they come in three colors. Link to her marketplace store will be below. I hope that she will do a lot more.

Meshy Redness

So now that I can finally use Mesh and Shadows I wanted to use it both in my pictures. And although fixing the shadow glitches take a lot of work and time, I really like them

I doubt I’ll have to tell you anything about Mesh, since the feeds are full of them. These Boots are from SLink and each color comes in 4 sizes to make sure that you can wear them without changing your shape too much. Same goes for Jane’s shorts I am wearing. I love how Mesh moves with the body without looking stiff. Though I hope that LL will add some chance to edit Mesh rather than forcing designers to include several sizes. That would be great for those people with unusual shapes to keep their individuality.

The glasses I am wearing are mesh too and they look really great. I do not know for how long but right now you can get several packs of Mesh glasses (tortoise shell pattern and black, with big and those small glasses) for only 1L each at bastard. I had to get them because I really really LOVE glasses on me

Mischievous Female Winecoat with Monsoon Clear eyes

If you like Meeroos you might know what this headline means. I have been visiting the Mee & Roo Festivale that happenes until tomorrow. Several designers have created items that are related to or inspired by Meeroos, and everything is available for 200L or less.

This cute dress is from Evie’s Closet and exactly the color of one of the Meeroo Coats – Winecoat, including the little dots we can see on the thigh of their hind legs. The ears come together with a tail, I am not wearing right now, from Jolly Farm. Also from Jolly Farm are the funny Meeroo shoes i am wearing below.

The Floating Island is made by myself, it comes with 4 poses and you can use it with and without cuddling your Meeroo, enjoying some piece and quiet time. The bracelet I am wearing is from Friday and you cannot see it on the pic but it has little pendants that look like the treasures your Meeroos dig up for you. I saw an eagle feather, a pipe and some others, so cute.

Subculture Challenge – Cyberpunk

When I heard about the Subculture Challenge I thought this will be fun. I was right. Sileny Noel asked those who are interested to give her two random numbers in a fixed range and those two subcultures would be the ones we can choose from. Mine where Bikers and Cyberpunk.

I have been a Bikerchick in my youth and I am a Cyberpunk Pen and Paper Roleplayer and (among other things) Sci-Fi-Geek in RL. So both of those were interesting for me. I actually threw a coin and the result was Cyberpunk.

There are many different ways to experience that, all of them pretty awesome. I have my own. Sadly lots of things my character has and is, is not available in SL, so I made a new character for that instead of showing you my RP girl

As location I chose the “Doomed Ship” Roleplaying Sim which is pretty perfect for this. Too bad you cannot bring sounds of SL into a blog post, it was pretty awesome to dive into this dark trash sci-fi environment.

Quoth the Raven “Nevermore”

This famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favourites. I do not know why, but I just love it. It sends shivers down my spine and each time I read the lines it is like I am reading it for the first time, still fascinated by the style, atmosphere and content.

Therefore when I found out about Empyreal Dreams, who build sets inspired by and based on great poems and novels, and their “The Raven” build I had to visit and make pictures. When I’ve got this beautiful and sensual dress, which is a group gift from “World End’s Garden”, I knew it is perfect for this venture.

Isn’t it just breathtaking? I certainly love it. Actually the color of the outfit is black but the color around plus the light may have changed that a little. There are shoes that come with the dress that were not my taste, so I added different boots.

Sepia? Oh my..

Okay, when I saw that the 52 weeks of color challenge for this week is sepia, my first thought was “That’s easy, dress in anything and slap a sepia filter over it.” but well that is not the thought behind this, right? So the second thought was “Oh my..” I have a lots of browns in my inventory but it still was a challenge. I am not even sure IF the items I chose fit into the broad understanding of Sepia, but for me it is, and that is what counts, right?

After putting everything together, I was actually looking for myself. For this Picture I changed my haircolor and my skin and I don’t recognize myself. Not that I don’t like the look, but those changed parameters are so not me *laughs*

Jewelry Fair and Ayla’s Opening Party

Today is a very exciting day and not only because the Jewelry Fair started today. No, for my friend Ayla it is, because today she will officially open her brand new and very first shop in Second Life. I have been posting tops from her before and there will be more, that much is for sure.

But first I want to show off some piece I have gotten, that I just adore. I have never been much of a jewelry lover in SL until maybe a couple of months ago. And I am humbled that I have the chance to show you designs for the Jewelry fair by three great designers. In contrast to my usual Pictures I want to concentrate on the Jewelry, which is why they have a plain background that does not distract you

First let me show you the designs of MIAO owned by Kesseret Steeplechase. All her jewelry comes with several texturechange options for gems, metal, cords, ribbons and so on which really makes those lovely creations fitting to everything you wear.

The next designer is Trixie Bumbo from Primagine. A shop I regrettably never heard about before. And it’s really a shame because you can see on those pictures, the designs are really beautiful, imaginative and with love to detail.

lassitude & ennui owned by Jackal Ennui has also some adorable pieces for the Jewelry Fair and I was curious to see them, because before I knew only shoes from them (blind me should look around in the shop more often) and i wasn’t getting dissapointed. The designs are beautiful, full of little details and delicate. Also the Bleeding Heart set comes with a texturechange HUD for 4 Pearl and 4 Metal colors.

Taste the Rainbow – Blogger Challenge

So this week we have another blogger challenge. This week it is “Crazy and wild” so I did something I wanted to do for a while, but since I knew this topic will come up I kept it until now.

It began when I drove around in my City and saw a very colorful house. The walls in several colors, each window and door frame in a different color as well and it so reminded me of a rainbow and although it’s not my normal style i wanted to make a picture with it. So yay this is the time.

See a dark and a bright rainbow mixed together so it is not TOO much overkill for the eyes haha. I can certainly say that I had lots of fun doing this.

Dancing on the bar

No, I am not drunk *laughs* Maybe I had too much black tea, since I don’t drink coffee. But I thought to have a little party moment can lift the spirits. So I jumped into this club called Flashmans and looked around what I could do. Since nobody was there I had it all for myself.

So I wandered around and remembered times when I was 17 / 18 years young and part of a Rockabilly clique, wearing Leather vests, name tags, Leather Biker boots.. old times old times. But we also had a lot of fun in bars, dancing and singing on the tables and stuff. So for this Post i decided to jump up on the bar, only the clothing did change a little bit since then *chuckles* See below me? That must be the tea I had too much of.
