Mischievous Female Winecoat with Monsoon Clear eyes

If you like Meeroos you might know what this headline means. I have been visiting the Mee & Roo Festivale that happenes until tomorrow. Several designers have created items that are related to or inspired by Meeroos, and everything is available for 200L or less.

This cute dress is from Evie’s Closet and exactly the color of one of the Meeroo Coats – Winecoat, including the little dots we can see on the thigh of their hind legs. The ears come together with a tail, I am not wearing right now, from Jolly Farm. Also from Jolly Farm are the funny Meeroo shoes i am wearing below.

The Floating Island is made by myself, it comes with 4 poses and you can use it with and without cuddling your Meeroo, enjoying some piece and quiet time. The bracelet I am wearing is from Friday and you cannot see it on the pic but it has little pendants that look like the treasures your Meeroos dig up for you. I saw an eagle feather, a pipe and some others, so cute.

It’s time again for the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, this week Luna Jubilee has chosen the color “Goldenrod”.

At first I was one of those mourning about that since I can’t remember that i had anything in that specific color. I’m actually surprised how much of a challenge those challenges can really be, I would assume that I could find anything fitting in my already existing huge inventory.

But then, I heard about the Magic of Oz Anniversary Hunt and one of the prizes has been just perfect for it.

Fairies wear boots

I have no idea why this song got stuck in my head all day long. But instead of wondering and guessing I decided to put it into good use, aka a blog post.

To find the fitting outfit was not hard, I kept on my Gos Docs and grabbed my Evie’s outfit before jumping to the first place I thought of when thinking of fairies in autumn: Garden of Dreams.

Today I was in the mood for a little challenge and did something that I knew would end in an attack of laughter: I asked my boyfriend for theme ideas. To share just a few with you, to see what I had to put up with, here a little bit of his mind. “Dolphins juggling with fir cones!” “…” “Not? then maybe pine cones.” “… *facepalm*” “How about Ice skating on the rings of Saturn?” *first fit of laughter* “If you don’t want juggling dolphins i don’t have to ask about otters?”

It might not be 100% the correct words, the laughter must have shaken out a lot of the memory but it was about that combined with a lot of ‘Darling…’, facepalms and ‘I should ask someone else’ from my side. *lol* BUT he had another idea and I tried to work with that: The Circus.

The lovely Evangeline Miles helped me a lot with finding a location and an outfit and I just found it perfect together. Thank you, doll. So i was wandering around at MadPea Circus and first I wanted to make the pic in the tent but then I saw this old carrousel and knew this is where I want to dance. Balancing on the horse was not easy but much better than using a living one

Those were the days – how time flies

Last night I sat there on my Building Platform in SL and thought about how the time ran and how long I am doing stuff already. In December I will be in SL for 4 years, I am doing Render Art for 10 years and I know my bestest friend Cale for 13 or 14 years, maybe even longer forgot to count. And I am with my RL boyfriend for over 8 years already…

I still remember my first evening in SL, visiting the White Dove, getting all the freebies, thinking how great the ‘realistic’ skin looks and getting a free hair with a voucher, back in times when free stuff was something rare and precious and we camped for nights and days to get together 10 Lindens. I wore the skin for 3 months until Cale dragged me skin shopping and i got a real realistic skin and noticed how pink my other one was, i kept the hair for 3 years and never changed it a bit until I found my love of SL hair and to change it every now and then.

So much happened in those almost 4 years and it’s so interesting to see what we have been doing, whom we met, what we saw and experienced and who we became. Seeing where I am now, when I started i would have said you’re crazy if you’ve told me where I’ll be.

And I’ve met so many wonderful people and I know that without them my life would be terribly empty. Just saying that, even if something I think “those were the days I wished to be back again”.. i would not want to be there without all of you. Thanks for making life interesting and being there, no matter if it is the bitch next door driving me nuts or my friends who make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Child of the Night

Last night was one of those nights, when i just did not get tired. I stayed up way too long but well that’s normal for me anyway *grins* I was in the mood to make something darker, fitting to my being of a night owl and a little bit mystic.

So while sorting my “To sort” folder, that is by now bigger than the rest of my inventory, i found a gown i bought during the Summer of Love Fair and the idea of Vampire Chan was born and i knew the perfect place for it. A dark roleplay sim with a breathtaking cathedral and an awesome cemetery called “No Salvation”.

When i arrived the sun was shining, forgot to override my light settings with the sim default, and since i refuse to sparkle i changed it to night. I made a bunch of pictures and i could not decide which one i like most, so you’re getting three of them *wink*

The first one is inside the cathedral and i hope i don’t have to mention that this light is casted by the moon through the windows, don’t come with sparkles and the like to me *smirks*

The second picture shows one of the outside places around the cathedral. Right behind the cemetery gates inside its walls you can find those beautiful poppy flowers.

While i was walking around and discovered crypts at the seam of the cemetery i saw it surrounded by a hip high wall with a beautiful view on the water, the moon standing over it. Luckily i could go closer so this picture was born.

Like a goldfish out of the water

Today when i was reading about two new specials from Evie’s Closet i was breathless, just like a goldfish out of water, almost as breathless as i have been when I visited this sim for the first time, i was shooting this picture in

But back to Evie. Funny enough that her special release’s color choice is called “Goldfish” how very fitting. It is a beautiful color, one might think to be in one of those fairy tales where the goldfish wishes to be human and when she then turns into one she wears this beautiful dress.

This sim – alirium – is by the way really amazing, So bright and lots of different nature settings, from green like spring, to white like in winter, darker with tons of butterflies, lakes an beautiful Indian elephant… it is so worth a look, whoever built it definitely has my respect and admiration.

I’m the f*cking princess!!

Alright after today’s earlier blogpost i met my dear friend SySy Chapman inworld and she was (i quote) “digging” my punk appearance. I can tell you that i won’t stay like that forever BUT i want to realize an idea of her’s she laughingly proclaimed.

And whilte preparing that i had to think of something my little RL sister said on her 6th birthday. Of course she said it in German so it would not make sense to many of you, but because i am so nice, i’ll roughly translate it. Hold in your thoughts that she had a theme party and was there as a cute little princess in a fluffy pink dress – something that did not fit to the rest of her behavior. So she was standing there in the middle of the room and pushed her little fits into her hips and said “Why are you not dancing. You have to dance, because this is my party and I’m the bloody princess.”

Funny enough that something very similar came back into my life through people on Plurk and Second Life and now it comes back again through SySy. So, doll, here it is and don’t say i did not warn you *lol* For this post i visited the Louis XV Rococo Ballroom because i knew it would be lovely pinkish as well.

And because every princess likes to dance, even the fucking ones, i could not resist to show off this awesome movement of Evie’s Gown while i was dancing. I could have danced all night…
