Vampire Doll

Yesterday my good friend SySy and me decided that we should visit the Horrorfest. We have heard about it but shame on us never visited. While we still stood at the Entrypoint and waited to rez another friend Cyclic joined and decided to get along with us, which was a great decision we had lots of fun. Sadly SySy crashed on the way and did not find her way back, but me and Cyclic went on and saw more of it. It is so big, that I had to leave before we reached the end, so we’ll have to go back definitely.

And despite my plan not to spend too much money, because my Landlord won’t like the excuse “I had to buy stuff at the Horrorfest so I cannot pay rent, I am sure you’ll understand” I got back home with my bags full of awesomeness.

While walking around with Cyclic I tried on the nice things I’ve good and I fell in love with this combination. I am feeling like a vampire dolly with this pretty dress, the skin with those little fangs at the lips making me feel all cute and it fits perfectly to my new hair and those pirate boots. And then when I found this Doll-Key as well oh my, my dolly heart bounced of joy – not that vampires notice much of that heart but oh well …

And of course you have to get a closeup of this lovely Skin. The necklace is a Charity item by the way and fits just perfectly to the whole ensemble. She has more sweet necklaces at her stall this is only one of them

If you have not been at the Horrorfest yet, you so should go. It’s amazing how creative the creators of SL are when it comes to spooky stuff. I’ve got much more, maybe I’ll show it to you another time

Square Root of 3 – Nerdy Geek Love

It was very clear from early days that I am a geek, a nerd and that I am proud of it. I loved Sci-Fi, especially Star Trek, since the first time I saw it at the age of 6. I loved museums, exhibitions and the buzz of excitement at the sight of all those historic pictures and figures, not to forget how my eyes gleamed when I saw a huge dinosaur skeleton for the first time, or a double helix..

I found that rather normal that my Dad taught me everything that he knew about computers and I soaked it in like a sponge, helped him programming stuff for the first time when I was 7 and that I built my first own computer without help at the age of 14. And wow I loved biology in school and always have been sad I did not understand physics because it was a tad too mathematic for my brain. *lol*

So I was doing the “For the Love of Science” hunt last night as soon as I heard of it and found some goodies on my way in the hunt and around of it, that I had to show off my little nerdy side in here

Gatcha Bubblegum Skater

So, yesterday I was – like half of the grid I assume – at the Gatcha Festival. I thought I’d stay a couple of minutes, take a short peek and then hide again on my land. Well.. thought is the magic word.

Actually when I teleported in and saw that my good friend SySy was just tping in as well, i knew that the idea was doomed, and I was right. I think we have been close to two hours and spent tons of money for stuff we found cute and wanted and was silly enough to get and had TONS of fun.

I can honestly say that I never had so much fun while being surrounded by so many people. I got so much stuff I will show you, but not all at once, a little bit of what I got you will see in today’s post

I cannot explain why, but i had the urge to go pink – I never do that, I do not like pink personally but I wanted this time – must be a phase. So I grabbed my skateboard i got from one of the Gatcha Machines and turned into a Pink Bubblegum Skater

First I had some problems to stay on the board and almost fell…

But not long after I was surprised that i could do tricks – wohooo!

And just because this is another great make-up I’ll show you a closeup of this lovely face, glad i did not get hurt while skating or it might show some bruises now.

I didn’t do it

Last night while i was digging through my “to sort” folder, which still is too big because i got distracted, i found some things i did not take a closer look at. Some of them are Hunt gifts, others I found by accident while camming around waiting for a lucky board to show my letter.

As soon as i found the facial piercings (the shadows are already included btw) i had this grungy, punky look in front of my inner eye and started to build it with a couple of more things i had in my inventory, only one thing i had to buy but i did that gladly.

Now ready and dressed i wondered where to go and i remembered a spot i have seen on my alt. It is right to a shop where one can get the awesome “Simbolic Translator” so i hopped over and saw that the burning taxi was still there where I … i mean someone drove it against the tree.

I decided to stay and wait for the officers to tell that someone unknown did that but.. well they didn’t come, so i could not say that i did not do it. But who knows if they would have believed me anyway.

But who can think that those eyes lie?
