Today I feel …. red

All day long i was changing outfits and did not know what to wear, nothing felt right, until i found this top in my inventory and knew, that this is what i want to wear today. Because today i felt… red.

Not that i was aggressive or anything, i just felt like it. Then when i saw some of the Fifty Linden Friday items I went shopping and came back with a couple of things I had to wear and mix together and yay happily they did fit my reddish mood.

And I really seem to like the autumnal decoration on Hide and Seek, this was not the first time i have been there to make pictures *lol* But it’s really really lovely, well done.

Make a wish

“According to a Native American legend if anyone desires a wish to come true they must first capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it. Since a butterfly can make no sound, the butterfly can not reveal the wish to anyone but the Great Spirit who hears and sees all. In gratitude for giving the butterfly its freedom, the Great Spirit always grants the wish. So, according to legend, by making a wish and giving the butterfly its freedom, the wish will be taken to the heavens and be granted.”

This I found last week on a Flickr page of Kaycee Nightfire and the next day I made a pose set for this, that will be available during Project Donate. Even that I try not to use my stuff in my blogposts here, I just had to use one of the poses, because it did fit perfectly into what I wanted to do with this picture.

Today when I logged into SL I’ve got big eyes because I’ve gotten a blogger pack for hair that will be releases during the Hair fair and I had seen a little sneak preview when Mina, the creator, visited me a month ago. I immediately fell in love with all the little daisy flowers all over it. Not too many to bury the hair not too few to get lost in it. So you can tell I was pretty excited after waiting the whole of August for this moment, because I knew exactly how the picture should look like and what I wanted to use – SySy’s Joelle is just perfect for it.

Yay, finally. And I really like how it came out. Of course I made my wish, but only the little butterfly knows which, and it will stay like it until the butterfly will let the Great spirit know about it

Somewhere out there

The last couple of days I have been busy with doing snapshots. But rather than wandering through SL and making pictures without the avatar for later (which I rather don’t) my good friend Cale and me logged into Guild Wars (an online role-playing game) and did exactly that there. Sadly the camera cannot used as freely as in SL and we had to see how to get some angles while being in mouselook (still hoping that Guild Wars 2 will have a better camera control option), but some of the regions there are breathtaking. And we started the little experiment to join Guild Wars and Second Life in our pictures.

So I am sorry if I cannot give you a landmark for this location but I liked how it came out. And after choosing this background image I was happy that I knew exactly what I am going to wear to fit into it. Since I was in the mood for earthy shades this was the perfect opportunity for some items I did not wear in a while and to show off my new Hair I got in the Platinum hunt.

While playing in PS with the image I had a song in my mind from the movie “An American Tail”. I know it is not moonlight but it’s still lovely.

Like a goldfish out of the water

Today when i was reading about two new specials from Evie’s Closet i was breathless, just like a goldfish out of water, almost as breathless as i have been when I visited this sim for the first time, i was shooting this picture in

But back to Evie. Funny enough that her special release’s color choice is called “Goldfish” how very fitting. It is a beautiful color, one might think to be in one of those fairy tales where the goldfish wishes to be human and when she then turns into one she wears this beautiful dress.

This sim – alirium – is by the way really amazing, So bright and lots of different nature settings, from green like spring, to white like in winter, darker with tons of butterflies, lakes an beautiful Indian elephant… it is so worth a look, whoever built it definitely has my respect and admiration.
