Yesterday my good friend Cale told me about a Micro Hunt at Barerose and as a longtime fan of almost everything they have been doing before T had to get on that hunt. It was a pretty small hunt – as said Micro – and it was fairly easy but fun
The Prize is The “Armor of Ordeal” for guys and girls, neatly placed in 4 parts in a little scavenger hunt. When you arrive at Barerose you have to touch the “The Mother Dragon” Hunt sign and get a folder with a landmark to start and an instructions notecard. The hunt goes along with a story that will give you some background and atmosphere while you are on your hunt and also a task you have to fulfill to get to the parts of the gifts. When you are done with the 4 parts you can also get a special extra that you will have to find on the sim, but you will get a clue and i found it easy to spot.
The extra contains the top, cloak and belt in the extra color pink for girls and blue for guys. One of the other 4 parts will give you this little sweet ride.
The Dragon is to wear, so it does not need any prims on the land or rez rights. It trigers the riding position and a soft up and down motion as soon as you wear it. It’s way too much fun to get off it again, so I’m riding it since I got it

So yesterday I tried to be social and have been invited to a Valentine’s Ball. As a Single in SL that has been a bad idea and I left pretty fast again. Afterwards I thought I need to do something unusual for me. And since I was in the mood for pictures the unusual thing is how I look.
First thing the hair. I have seen it all around SL and usually i am not the kind for Dreadlocks but I kinda dig them. The skin is another thing, it misses my usual red lips but I like the natural look. Additionally the outfit. Not that I am only rather a pants person, also the mix of skirt, poncho and boots is pretty unusual for me.
I feel pretty different to how I look usually, so that mission is accomplished. And you know what? I kinda dig this look, might use it more often!

I think I have mentioned before that I am a huge fan of fall. I love the colors, the smell of rain, the sound of rain and the rustling leaves at the trees before they fly away, to watch them flying… well everything actually.
As much as I love all those orange, reddish, brownish colors… when I was shopping recently and I saw this splotch of color among all the autumn fashion, I just needed to get it. And it is so beautiful, colorful and happy mood spreading. So for now this will be my Happy Mood dress *grins* And sadly you cannot see it there but Gos’ Espandrillos I am wearing with them are just perfect to complete this look.

I do not know if you know the feeling that when you look around, hear music, talk with people you feel like you are out of time. Not from now, you are born in the wrong century? Well sometimes I have that. I sometimes think I should have been there in the 18th Century… in the 60′s… maybe I have been in a former life, who knows. But I know that if I would be transported back right now I would miss a lot from these days, as great the old days might have been.
So as soon as I snap out of it, I enjoy my time here, but that does not stop me from dreaming about them, and to make pictures that would fit into old days. When I saw this hair from Ina Centaur I thought it’s nothing ordinary, it’s unique and invites me to dream. I really like the little details, the leaves and flowers in the hair, the texturechangeable shroud to protect from cold winds and a smile comes over my face when i see those little pelicans in the front and the back with their own little blankets covering them. A beautiful detail is the long chain interweaving with the hair and the flowers between the pelicans carrying this oldfashioned pocket watch.
It’s a beautiful creative piece that you can get at the Hair Fair and 100% of its proceeds will go to Wigs for Kids. Not only for that cause I gladly feel out of time.

This is not the Rocky Horror Picture Show and I am not Tim Curry in lingery, but I remembered this song today. A very dear friend has a hard time and actually I want to say that not only for my friend, but for everyone feeling down, having a rough time and the like – including myself – that even when it does not look like it, somewhere in this darkness is a light that can shine slightly like coal dying down or burst like a nova. I know that my friends and my RL Partner are those light for me even when i sometimes seem to forget I never do.
So open your eyes and look around, find those little lights and don’t forget, that there’s a light also in your life
I got surprised today when I looked around in SL for a place where I wanted to make my picture. I did actually not plan on the subject but when I found this corner in Lost World by lolmac Shan I remembered the song again I thought of earlier and well it took a life of its own
