This post actually happened by accident. I did not plan to blog anything but as you can see it still happened. I went on a shopping spree in Japanese Stores for the first time in my Second Life. I found them through Evelyn Hartshon’s Stores and Creators List and was surprised how many stores are out there I never heard about. One of them was Hal*Hina, whose dress I’m wearing.
So yesterday, I was bored and explored SL a bit, and while I was in that flowerfield I felt the urge to dance, which I did and randomly hit the snapshot button. One of those random accidents you can see here
And now that I am writing this, I remember that Evelyn also started a blogger challenge, in which we should feature an item from a shop we never visited before and was listed on her list. That’s the case. I can tell you that I’ve bought several outfits from this little store. The creator Hinano Runo is really talented and does a lot of adorable and also sexy stuff. I can’t wait to wear more and check back for new releases very soon.
What did I use and where can you get it? Shape: Mine Skin:Exodi – Isolde Vivante – 12 Hair:TRUTH – Sandra Dress:Hal*Hina – classical dress -J9080- peacock green Bracelets: spork – silver bangles (Not available anymore) Necklace:Dark Mouse – Victorian Beads w/Sparkle (Gacha Festival) Pose: One frame from a dance, which is available at sinewave, though I forgot the exact name
When I heard about the Subculture Challenge I thought this will be fun. I was right. Sileny Noel asked those who are interested to give her two random numbers in a fixed range and those two subcultures would be the ones we can choose from. Mine where Bikers and Cyberpunk.
I have been a Bikerchick in my youth and I am a Cyberpunk Pen and Paper Roleplayer and (among other things) Sci-Fi-Geek in RL. So both of those were interesting for me. I actually threw a coin and the result was Cyberpunk.
There are many different ways to experience that, all of them pretty awesome. I have my own. Sadly lots of things my character has and is, is not available in SL, so I made a new character for that instead of showing you my RP girl
As location I chose the “Doomed Ship” Roleplaying Sim which is pretty perfect for this. Too bad you cannot bring sounds of SL into a blog post, it was pretty awesome to dive into this dark trash sci-fi environment.
I love that place.

Yay for another post in the row of the 52 Weeks of Color Blogger Challenge. This week’s color is yellow and I was thinking about that color since I knew it was coming. When I told my best friend about it, he asked me if I have to be alone on the pics and the bulb in my head went on. He loves yellow and so I happily offered him to join me this week.
And creative mind that Cale is, he had an idea for the picture in literally no time. Last night he built the little set for it and I think that he basically just wanted to show me what he was thinking of, but then we spontaneously morphed that into a photoshoot. It was so much fun
I do not know how many of you know that December 21st will be the Yule fest, the longest night of the year and that from this day the days will start to become longer again. The rebirth of the sun in celtic beliefs.
Since it is one of my major events (while others celebrate christmas just a couple of days later) this picture means a lot to me. Kind of a celebrating of Yule a few days early *grins*

Okay, when I saw that the 52 weeks of color challenge for this week is sepia, my first thought was “That’s easy, dress in anything and slap a sepia filter over it.” but well that is not the thought behind this, right? So the second thought was “Oh my..” I have a lots of browns in my inventory but it still was a challenge. I am not even sure IF the items I chose fit into the broad understanding of Sepia, but for me it is, and that is what counts, right?
After putting everything together, I was actually looking for myself. For this Picture I changed my haircolor and my skin and I don’t recognize myself. Not that I don’t like the look, but those changed parameters are so not me *laughs*

It’s time again for the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, this week Luna Jubilee has chosen the color “Goldenrod”.
At first I was one of those mourning about that since I can’t remember that i had anything in that specific color. I’m actually surprised how much of a challenge those challenges can really be, I would assume that I could find anything fitting in my already existing huge inventory.
So i went on a hunt, digged out a couple of more pieces i found in my inventory and tadaaa, here it is, my goldenrod blogpost.

“Don’t know how it all got started,
I don’t know what they’re doin’ with their lives.
But me, I’m still on the road
Headin’ for another joint
We always did feel the same,
We just saw it from a different point of view,
Tangled up in blue.”
Interesting enough I had this old Bob Dylan song in my mind as soon as I saw that the new 52 Weeks of Color Challenge Color will be Blue. So instead of some other more obvious songs i choose that as a title.
It was not hard to find blue things in my inventory, but it was hard to decide which ones I want to use. So after testing and trying out different styles I have chosen this one. It looks comfy enough to fit today’s mood, did not want to go too fancy. Rather a “I’ll go and take a stroll.”
Maybe I should have dressed a little less revealing, with the cold weather outside my lips went all blue, see? lol
Last weekend I’ve been seeing a lot of posts with gray items and was wondering what this all was about. Then I found out that they all were for the “52 Weeks of Color” Blogger Challenge initialized by Luna Jubilee. I became really curious how many of those weeks I would be able to do, so I’ve decided to join in. This week’s color is grey and I already had my first trouble, because I have close to no grey items, but I’ve got lucky and found some silver ones, which is close enough for me
I actually like this grayish look, maybe I’ll keep it on for today *grins*
